It’s time to trade your hammer for a helmet and prove who really runs the job site – on four wheels! The Pro Karts Tradies Challenge is your chance to take on other tradies in a high-speed, team-based go-karting endurance race. Whether you're on the tools all day or running the crew, this event is built for you.

Who Can Enter?

We’re calling on:

• Builders

• Electricians

• Plumbers

• Roofers

• Painters

• Trade suppliers

• Anyone who wears high-vis and gets it done!

Bring your crew and your competitive streak – no karting experience needed, just a bit of grit and a good sense of humour.

How It Works

• Teams of 3–5 tradies share one kart.

• Entry is just $260 per team.

Whether you're a crew of three who want max time on the track or a team of five splitting the fun (and the cost), we’ve got you covered.

The Race Format

This is a relay-style, endurance race. Teams rotate drivers throughout the 200 laps – but with strategy in mind.

• Minimum 11 pit stops
• Miss a pit stop = disqualified
• Contact or blocking = penalties
• 3 strikes = extra pit stop (and your boss will hear about it)

It's not just about speed – it's about smart tactics, quick pit work, and tight teamwork.

What the Night Looks Like

• 5:40 PM – Arrival & Check-In

• 6:00 PM – Safety Briefing + Practice Laps

• 6:20 PM – Green flag drops, race begins

• Around 8:15 PM – Race ends, prizegiving, and photos

We’ll get you geared up, give you a few warm-up laps to get the feel for the kart, then it’s all go. Expect cheers, banter, and maybe some cheeky sledging between teams.

Let’s be honest – you’re here to race and eat. We’ve got pizzas and light refreshments ready to keep the whole crew running strong.

Trophies & Glory

Cross the line first (with all pit stops completed) and claim the custom Tradies Challenge trophy for your workplace. You’ll earn serious bragging rights – until next year, at least.

We only accept 13 teams max for this event. It’s first in, first served – and if you race this year, you get first dibs next time. Don’t wait around!
